Media Release:
If you’ve been half-considering a phone upgrade, you know, one of those “I’ll wait until the battery gets really bad” situations, this might be the nudge. Motorola has rolled out its EOFY offers, and, well… they’re not exactly subtle about it.
From now through to 30 June, there are savings across a pretty wide stretch of the lineup. Some modest, some… not so modest. Up to $400 off in certain cases, which is enough to make you pause mid-scroll and actually look twice. Maybe even three times, depending on how long your current phone has been hanging on.
The Short Version (In Case You’re Scanning)
Motorola is offering EOFY discounts across multiple devices, including:
- motorola signature
- motorola edge 70
- motorola razr 60
- motorola edge 60 pro
- moto g67
- moto g56
Prices are reduced until 30 June, with availability across major retailers and telcos. And that’s the straightforward part. The details are where it gets more interesting.
A Line-Up That Covers… Pretty Much Everything
There’s a bit of a theme here, Motorola hasn’t just discounted one or two crowd-favourite models. It feels more like an “everyone gets something” approach.
motorola signature

This is the one that sort of leans into prestige. A bit of quiet confidence, I think. It’s positioned as the photography flagship, with Sony LYTIA™ sensors and Dolby Vision recording doing most of the heavy lifting.
It’s also picked up a DXOMARK Gold Label camera award, which, depending on how deep you go into camera rankings, might actually matter quite a bit. Or not. But it’s still a solid nod.
The design is slim, curved, and looks like someone really did sit down and obsess over the finish. You’re getting:
- 256GB: Was $1,499 → Now $1,249
- 512GB: Was $1,699 → Now $1,449
Available at JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, and The Good Guys, with additional telco offers floating around, some of them fairly aggressive if you’re comfortable with repayment plans.
motorola edge 70

This one feels like it’s trying to balance things without making a fuss about it.
It’s incredibly thin, almost distractingly so at first, but still manages to pack in three 50MP cameras and a battery that claims up to 38 hours. Which sounds optimistic, but also… not impossible depending on usage.
Pricing drops from $899 down to $499 during the sale window. That’s a fairly noticeable cut.
Widely available, including Officeworks, which is always a bit of a wildcard in phone launches.
motorola razr 60

Foldables always have this moment where people either immediately get it or hesitantly poke at it. The Motorola razr 60 leans into the “just have fun with it” vibe.
- Compact foldable design
- 3.6-inch external display
- Dolby Atmos® stereo sound
- Moto AI features built in
And yes, it comes in Parfait Pink, which might win people over all on its own.
Price drops from $1,199 to $799. That’s the full $400 saving — probably the headline deal here. JB Hi-Fi has it exclusively.
motorola edge 60 pro

This one sits somewhere between premium and practical. Maybe leaning slightly toward premium.
There’s a quad-curved display, which looks genuinely good in person — the sort of thing that doesn’t fully translate in spec sheets. Combined with AI features and upgraded camera performance, it feels like a device that wants to do a bit of everything well.
Pricing goes from $1,199 down to $599, which is… a very large shift. Bigger than expected, honestly.
moto g67

The G-series always comes across as quietly dependable. No huge promises, but no real compromises either.
The Moto G67 leans into display quality and camera reliability:
- 6.8″ Extreme AMOLED display
- 50MP Sony LYTIA™ camera
- AI-assisted imaging
There’s no direct retail discount listed, but telco offers bring it down depending on plans, which, again, depends on how you feel about long contracts. Some people love them, some absolutely don’t.
moto g56

If you just want something straightforward that works without fuss, this is probably the easiest pick.
It’s designed around durability and everyday usability. Solid display, decent audio, 5G connectivity. Nothing flashy, but nothing obviously missing either.
Price drops from $399 to $199 — which, at that level, feels almost like an impulse buy. Not that you should impulse-buy a phone. But still.
Final Thought (If You’re Still Deciding)
EOFY sales can be a bit overwhelming. Lots of noise, lots of “limited time” messaging. But this one feels a little more straightforward.
If your phone is struggling, battery fading, storage full, camera a bit… unpredictable, this is probably a decent window to upgrade without overthinking it too much.
Or you wait another year. People always say that. But then your phone dies at the worst possible time, and suddenly you’re buying whatever’s in stock.
So, perhaps worth a look.
