The annual tradition of emptying our pockets during the festive season has once again come around. The Army Boxes from Warhammer are going on pre-order this Saturday.
Jokes aside these are usually a good bargain to start or extend a faction in either Warhammer 40,000 or Age of Sigma. The bundles have a good selection of miniatures for the faction and often are heavily discounted – if you bought the items separately.
We will update the post once we know the price for these Army Boxes… for now you can see the total cost if you get the minis individually.

Starting off with the devotees of Khorne
This box includes the huge Daemon Primarch Angron, towering over six frenzied Eightbound and a squad of 10 blood-crazed Berzerkers, ready to slaughter all who cross their path. I can also see you buying a pot of Blood for the Blood God paint… you know it needs it.

This is a HUGE box! Starting off with the immense Norn Emissary and a terrifying Winged Hive Tyrant, that’s two large models commanding a tide of 20 leaping Hormagaunts and 10 skulking Genestealers. This one will keep you busy Christmas morning.

Sharpen your chain blade, it’s Space Marines
Dubbed the Spearhead Force, this warband of highly mobile forces deliver punishing firepower. An Invader ATV and its Outrider motorcade is backed by 15 Jump Pack Intercessors – led by a fearsome Captain with Jump Pack. The new ‘jumpy boys’ are a welcome sight for this Army Box and are pictured in the perfect shade of blue.

The Ancestors will deck the halls…

Tanks are coming to town
The Cadian Defence Force is all that stands in the way of humanity and hope. Sometimes known as a meat shield, they sure pack a wallop with not one but two mighty Rogal Dorn Battle Tanks. The tanks are supported by two disciplined squads of 10 Cadian Shock Troopers – who can merge into one big squad of 20 – and a Cadian Command Squad to bark orders in the heat of combat. It’s a true bulwark against anything that might threaten Humanity!

I’m dreaming of a Blight Christmas
Soulblight Gravelords might be undead but they sure bring a lot to the fight. The Vengorian Lords are those who have truly succumbed to their bestial nature. Making up a terrifying host for any battle field.

Rudolph the red-nosed lizard
The Seraphon had a recent release of great new miniatures, the Primordial Starhost is the best way to get as many as possible. An ancient Slann Starmaster watches over the ferocious charge of three Aggradon Lancers, while three mighty Kroxigor and 10 savage Saurus Warriors set upon enemies herded into place by three snapping Terrawings and the cunning Hunters of Huanchi. This is the perfect way to start collecting the lizard folk.

It’s getting a little bit spikey in here…
Ride down your foes and reap a bountiful tithe of bone with the Praetorian Spearhead, commanded by Arch-Kavalos Zandtos and his bodyguard of five Kavalos Deathriders. Four elite Morghast constructs swoop from the skies, while a Gothizzar Harvester reanimates the fallen and reinforces the 10 Mortek Guard (although there are 20 pictured?) who march unrelentingly across the battlefield.

The best value for money at this stage is looking to be the Votann – but only time (and the retail price) will tell.
