Exploring Floodlands: A Roll and Write Adventure

Exploring Floodlands: A Roll and Write Adventure

Welcome, fellow cartographers, to Floodlands – a thrilling new roll and write game set amidst the chaos of heavy rains and the challenge of mapping the changing landscape. Developed by the talented team at Logic Engine, Floodlands promises an engaging gaming experience that combines strategy, creativity, and a dash of artistic flair.

Gameplay Overview

In Floodlands, 2-6 players take on the role of apprentice cartographers tasked with updating maps ravaged by torrential rains. Your mission? Piece together an accurate representation of the local infrastructure and landmarks to aid in relief efforts. Each turn, players roll three dice: one determines the amount of land and water to draw, while the other two dictate the buildings or resources to be added to your map.

As the game progresses, strategic decisions come into play as you balance the need for accurate mapping with maximizing your score. The game typically lasts around 40 minutes, offering a compact yet immersive experience perfect for game nights or quick rounds of fun.
