Logitech Mice Win Two Prestigious Good Design Awards

Media Release:

Two Logitech products have been recognised in the 2026 Australian Good Design Awards, Australia’s longest-running international design awards, for excellence in design, innovation and impact.

The peripheral and hardware manufacturer’s G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE Gaming Mouse and MX Master 4 Wireless Mouse were honoured in the Product Design Consumer Electronics category, as a Gold Winner and Winner respectively. This year’s Awards were presented under the theme Design that Leads – celebrating the critical role of design in navigating complexity, driving innovation and creating positive change.

The 2026 Australian Good Design Awards Ceremony took place on Friday 9 October at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney. It brought together more than 1,000 guests from across design, architecture, engineering, business, government and the wider creative industries to celebrate the very best in contemporary design.

MX Master 4 + Windows 11: The First Productivity Mouse with Native Haptic Feedback

“The Jury recognises the Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE Gaming Mouse for its innovative approach to competitive gaming performance through the patent-pending Haptic Inductive Trigger System,” said a jury spokesperson. “By replacing traditional mechanical switches with inductive analogue sensing and real-time haptic feedback, the design delivers measurably faster click response times and enhanced durability.
“The Jury commends the design and engineering team for their genuine exploration of tunable haptic technology, which introduces meaningful customisation options for professional esports athletes. This seamless integration of advanced engineering within a refined Industrial Design demonstrates strong technical credibility and market impact, establishing a new benchmark in gaming peripherals. Logitech continue to set the standard for design excellence in this product category – well done.”

At a time of unprecedented social, environmental and technological change, the theme of this year’s Good Design Awards recognises that good design is more than an outcome, it is a powerful way of thinking, imagining and acting. It challenges us to question what is, envision what could be and design better products, services, places and systems for people and planet.

The spokesperson continued: “The Jury commends the Logitech MX Master 4 for its thoughtful evolution of an already well-resolved product through the integration of haptic feedback, creating a more intuitive and engaging user experience for demanding professionals. The Jury recognises the commitment to repairability and circularity, with design-for-disassembly principles genuinely integrated alongside premium materials including low-carbon aluminium and recycled plastics.
“The refined ergonomic form, customisable haptics and software-enabled workflow enhancements demonstrate strong systems-level thinking and maturity in balancing tactile interaction with professional productivity needs. The Jury congratulates the Logitech Design Team on establishing a strong benchmark within this premium peripheral category.”

“These awards are appreciated as they acknowledge how our global team has come together to create products prioritising good design and ergonomics. Logitech peripherals are a key part of Australians’ lives, whether at home or work, and our commitment to good design principles ensures ease of use whenever or wherever they are needed.”
