World of Warcraft Executive Producer Holly Longdale Named PAX Aus 2026 Storytime Speaker

PAX Aus announces World of Warcraft EP Holly Longdale as 2026 Storytime speaker

Media Release:

PAX Aus is thrilled to announce that Holly Longdale, the Executive Producer of World of Warcraft at Blizzard Entertainment, will headline this year’s event as the official Storytime Speaker.

As one of the industry’s most influential voices in the massively multiplayer online (MMO) space, Longdale brings over two decades of experience to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre this October. In her role at Blizzard, Longdale oversees the collective efforts of the World of Warcraft franchise, including the ongoing development of the landmark Worldsoul Saga trilogy—starting with the recently released Midnight—as well as the vibrant World of Warcraft Classic experience.

Since joining Blizzard Entertainment in 2020, Longdale has been instrumental in the evolution of Azeroth. Her tenure began with the successful rollout of the final phases of World of Warcraft Classic, including the highly anticipated launch of Zul’Gurub and the legendary opening of the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj. Her career, which spans 18+ years, includes significant contributions to other major industry pillars, including her time as a producer at Disney Interactive Studios and her foundational leadership roles as a designer and executive producer on the classic MMOs EverQuest and EverQuest II.

“I’m honoured to be joining PAX Aus to celebrate the power of games and the communities that grow around them,” said Longdale. “From World of Warcraft to gaming more broadly, it’s those communities that shape what we build, and I’m looking forward to sharing how we’re thinking about the future of Warcraft with the same focus on listening, creativity, and deep respect for the players who make Azeroth feel like home.”

Lauren Luciani, PAX Aus Event Director, noted that Longdale represents the “very best of what PAX Aus celebrates: creativity, community, and the power of games to bring people together.”

I am personally incredibly excited to see Holly take the stage this year. Having attended PAX Aus for many years, I always look forward to the unique energy of the event, and I cannot wait to return home this October to hear firsthand how leaders like Holly are shaping the future of interactive worlds.

PAX Aus 2026 will take place from October 9 to 11 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
