Wargaming Massive February 2021 wrap up

Wargaming announced several major updates across February, with patches released for World of Warships, World of Tanks, and World of Tanks Blitz. World of Tanks also announced another significant piece of news this month, with the game coming to Steam later this year.

Lunar New Year celebrations continued this month with special events taking place in both World of Tanks and World of Tanks Blitz. World of Tanks Blitz received an additional update later in the month with patch 7.7 bringing new Czechoslovakian tanks to the game.

World of Warships: Legends announced an update patch for the month early in February. The new update featured the first appearance of the long-awaited Aircraft Carriers. Later in the month, World of Warships announced Tier IV–IX Italian Battleships were added with a host of interesting new features.

World of Tanks heads to Steam

This month, Wargaming announced its plans to bring World of Tanks to Steam. For the first time, Steam players will be able to master more than 600+ vehicles, hone their tanking tactics and skills, and experience World of Tanks’ unique combat. Celebrate the Lunar New Year in World of Tanks and World of Tanks Blitz

World of Tanks and World of Tanks Blitz both unleashed two unique themed events to kick off the Lunar New Year celebrations. World of Tanks hosted the Lunar Challange, a special event that saw tankers test their skills with 10 stages. World of Tanks Blitz hosted Lunar Rising, another themed event with nine stages for tankers to test their skills. Details on the events can be found here.

Czech It Out! A New Line of Vehicles Storms World of Tanks Blitz

Wargaming announced update 7.7 for World of Tanks Blitz, headlined by five brand-new Czechoslovakian vehicles which will become part of the European Tech Tree. Alongside the Czechoslovakian tanks, Update 7.7 also introduced a brand-new operation, Colosseum. A trailer of the update can be found here.

New Italian Battleships arrive in early access for World of Warships

Patch 0.10.1 for World of Warships was headlined by the addition of the long-awaited, Tier IV–IX Italian Battleships. The update also saw the second season of ranked battles, season 12 of clan battles, and a significant update to brawls. A patch overview can be found here.

Carriers Arrive in World of Warships: Legends

 

World of Warships Legends received its first major update for 2021, bringing many exciting additions to the game. The most notable addition was the first appearance of a new ship type—Aircraft Carriers. There was also a new campaign for a German battlecruiser, British heavy cruisers, and a pair of special events for a new game mode and the Lunar New Year! More details on the update can be found here.
