Panik Arcade’s Hellish Debt Simulator, CloverPit, dubbed the demonic lovechild of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette, is available now on console and PC, with “Unholy Fusion” DLC coming soon.

After selling over one million copies on Steam in just 10 weeks, the viral and hellish slot machine roguelike CloverPit from indie duo Panik Arcade has just surprise-launched on Xbox and Game Pass(Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox for PC) during the Xbox Partner Showcase. The critically acclaimed debt simulator is now available to millions of new players.

CloverPit is the demonic lovechild of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette that locks you in a rusty cell with a slot machine and an ATM, in which players must pay off their debt by creating wild combos or fall to ruin – literally.

This gripping rogue-lite traps players in a hell of their own creation, forcing them to manipulate the slot machine to earn extra coins. Players turn the odds in their favor with over 150 items and synergies, snowballing into a dazzling lucky run. The goal is to bend the rules, break the game, and pay off your captor long enough to earn a shot at freedom in this sinister tale of addiction and escape.

The game features meta-progression, seeded runs, and unlockable run modifiers and power-ups, all set within a tense, hellish escape room atmosphere.

The developers want to be clear about the game’s core design: “CloverPit is not a slot machine simulator. Our slot machine is designed to be broken and ultimately overcome. If you’re looking for a real gambling experience, please look elsewhere. Or better yet, don’t look at all. We don’t really like gambling. That’s what the game is about!”

For those already mastering their debt, players watching closely will have spotted a little teaser at the end of the launch trailer for the game’s upcoming first DLC “Unholy Fusion,” coming soon!
