Comfort is one of the Enki X’s best features. The chair is designed for all-day use, which is exactly what I needed. As someone who now works from home four days a week, on my PC most nights, and often on weekends too, I spend more time on my gaming chair than I do in my own bed. This led to me burning through chairs about every nine months and then purchasing another cheap one before tax time. However, the Razer Enki X comes equipped with a 21” ultrawide seat base and a flat seat cushion that offers excellent support, even for me and my fellow big booty friends. Even after five months, it still feels like the day I got it, whereas by this time with other chairs, I’d be readjusting every hour.

This is incredibly frustrating, as I used to spend about $100-$150 a year on desk chairs and swore I’d never waste money on one of these fancy chairs because it didn’t seem worth it for just a year. After getting the opportunity to try the Enki X, I’m annoyed at myself for not getting one earlier.

The backrest is also well-padded but firmer than the seat cushion, which perfectly contours to your lower back arch, along with 110° extended shoulder arches that make you feel supported and hugged by the chair, ensuring you stay comfortable during long gaming sessions or work hours. It is that blend of firm back support and soft cushion that gives you total body support.

While the Razer Enki X doesn’t have some of the advanced features found in the highest-end gaming chairs, like a tilt mechanism and 4D armrests, it still offers more than enough adjustability. The chair can recline up to 152 degrees, allowing you to find a comfortable position for relaxation. However, the armrests are only 2D, which might be a limitation for some users. I found them amazing and perfect for all my gaming, and even more perfecter (yes, that’s a word now!) for miniature painting.

Price and Value

At a price point of around $450-$499 AUD, the Enki X offers excellent value for money. It undercuts many of its competitors while still providing a high level of comfort and build quality.
