Return To Oblivion With The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood Available Now On PC

RETURN TO OBLIVION WITH THE ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE: BLACKWOOD AVAILABLE NOW ON PC

Bethesda are excited to release the latest Chapter in the ESO saga, The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood, available now for all PC/MAC players. The new Chapter delivers over 30 hours of new story content in the stunning new region of Blackwood, complete with iconic locations that fans of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will surely recall. The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood will launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on June 8.

As part of our Gates of Oblivion year-long storyline, the Blackwood Chapter will task players with exposing the daedric plots and tyrannical schemes consuming the region. Discover the connection of these plots to the Prince of Destruction and his dreadful plans for Tamriel. Though Blackwood is a standalone story, its events further the overall Gates of Oblivion narrative that will conclude later in 2021.

Players can look forward to our all-new Companions System, designed so whether you play single-player or with friends, you’ll never have to adventure alone again. Unlocked via certain Blackwood main storyline quests, players can choose between two new Companions, whose playstyle you’ll define through selecting their gear and leveling up their skills. Each Companion has their own personality, likes, dislikes, and unique questlines. Oh, and be careful with your actions as the deeds you perform will influence rapport with your Companion.

Here’s a quick look at some of the exciting, new content coming to Blackwood:

  • New Companion System
  • New Zone: Blackwood
  • Rockgrove, a fresh 12-player Trial
  • Oblivion Portal World Events
  • Additional Delves, Public Dungeons, Quests, World Bosses and more…

Players can purchase the Blackwood Chapter through the ESO Store or platform store of their choice. Separately, to ensure a smooth Blackwood launch on consoles, The Elder Scrolls Online: Console Enhanced will now arrive on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on June 15, 2021. For full patch notes on Update 30, remember to keep an eye on our official forums.
