The team at Logitech Australia recently send me the new Logitech G305. The mouse was released in May of 2018 in black, with Lilac, Mint, White & Blue being released in September 2019.
So, with the beautiful Lilac I was sent the beautiful Lilac G305, lets take this thing for a spin!
The Logitech G305 is made with an all-plastic design weighting in at just 99 grams (Approximately 3.50 oz for our US readers). Measuring 11.6 cm in length by 6.3 cm in width makes the G305 the perfect size for my chubby hands & brings back some fond memories of one of my favourite mouses, the Logitech MX Anywhere 2S, just better.
Logitech G305 Wireless Gaming Mouse simple all plastic design is comfortable in hand. its Hero senor with a sensitivity range of up to 12,000 CPI & 1ms report rate makes for a smooth & responsive mouse.
This adorable little mouse can last up to 250 hours on a single AA battery. Which unfortunately for some, means the it isn’t rechargeable. Which for some people can be a deal breaker, & something that never bothered me… until I was half way through a raid on World of Warcraft & the batteries I had on my desk were all flat. Then scrambling around to find batteries, thanks again air conditioner controller for your sacrifice…. Fingers crossed, I remember that sacrifice when summer rolls around.
Logitech G305 Mouse wireless designs connects via USB receiver that fits neatly within the battery compartment, which is a feature I love in most Logitech mouses…. Mice? That being said, I’ve still needed to re-buy several USB receiver as I forget to use it. Add in the six programable buttons, all of which are extremely easily customizable through the downloadable Logitech Options software, G Hub. This mouse has everything you could want and so much more. You can see this was made for gaming in mind but made with the portability to take gaming with you anywhere you need.
Speaking of G Hub software, its is one of the simplest and easiest I have used. You click the circle of the button you wish to change and then you can easily allocate a keystroke or select one of the multitudes of pre-programmed selection. With over 60 selections from copy or paste to sign off or shut down. It allows you to take this adorable little mouse in your favourite colour, then customise it to work the way you want with a click of the button.
I only have one real issue I foresee with the Logitech G305 Wireless Gaming Mouse & that will only affect those of of us blessed with big hands, which I am not one. As this mouse would be more suited to someone with smaller or medium hands or someone that uses the claw grip on a mouse. And even that, is coming up with something coz I couldn’t really fault it overall.

I was originally asked if this was just a group of cool coloured but average mouse & the answer is, no, not at all.
