Last night, Hasbro and JB Hi-Fi revealed a Transformers takeover of their flagship store in Chadstone Shopping Centre. The ‘Chaddy’ JB Hi-Fi was rebranded ‘JBEE’ for the evening, to launch the month-long Transformers: Rise of the Beasts movie-themed takeover of JB Hi-Fi’s store network (June 1-30).

The JBEE campaign, a nod to Transformers’ beloved yellow and black Bumblebee character, has rolled out across all JB Hi-Fi stores nationwide. The promotion will provide fans the opportunity to purchase new Transformers movie action-figure toys and merchandise, as well as collect some limited-edition ‘JBEE’ mementos – ahead of the release of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, in cinemas June 22.

Transformers fans who attended the event enjoyed photo ops with the star of the night, Bumblebee, and had the chance to ‘Spin to Win’ some cool giveaways and prizes, including a limited-edition Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Diorama, movie character poster art, toy collectibles, and tickets to a private screening of the movie at Jam Factory later this month.

Transformers also takes over the June issue of JB Hi-Fi’s Stack Magazine which is packed with Transformers: Rise of the Beasts content and exclusive interviews, plus a double-sided movie poster. Fans can secure a copy of this special ‘JBEE’ collector’s edition in-store, but only while copies are available.
