Media Release:
Disruptive gaming startup, GGWP Academy launched the industry’s very first Creator / Brand Marketplace on 7th June 2021.
GGWP Academy launch signifies a NEW creator economy that will match small creators with small brands, mid-tier creators with mid-tier brands, and large with large. These matches will be based on the GGWP Influencer rank that gamers accumulate in-App.
Gaming creators globally will love the new platform for it’s ‘creator dashboard’ (June 15th update) that brings together their social analytics to one place and for the ‘GIGS’ that are advertised by brands. It’s a central hub for anyone wishing to earn money in live streaming, esports and recorded content creation.
Good Game Well Played (GGWP) Academy believe that #SmarterInfluence is the future of content creation and delivers education to creators globally so they know how to drive ROI for brands on marketing campaigns. This makes gaming a more educated and more professional industry for brands to function within and GGWP is leading the way for brands who hope to have a unique and authentic voice.
Brand Managers will love GGWP for its search capabilities, transparency in reporting on ROI, ease of talent management and talent engagement. No more; searching weeks for talent, checking every platform for talent’s email address, not getting an answer and starting all over again. GGWP Academy solves all these problems for brands.
“I can’t wait for more brands to experience that ‘Aha moment’ when they realise what the GGWP platform is (and will be) capable of. We are already working with our brand partner Logitech and approximately 20 other brands to deliver GIGs to gamers globally in the coming two months and the diversity of campaigns is astounding. From headphones to games publishers, sneakers to street wear and snacks to supplements. We are bringing brands to gaming” – Jax Garrett, CEO and Founder of GGWP Academy
Brands GGWP are working with currently; Logitech, Blue Microphones, EA Games, Warner Music, CC’s, Cheezels, Pushas, Own3d.TV, Hyprcarry and many more!
Jax Garrett, CEO and Founder of the innovative startup, set out in 2018 to support her son Max, who at the time was the youngest esports pro and content creator on YouTube in Australia. At the tender age of nine, he had a professional esports gaming contract, sponsors and competed at three World Pokemon Championships. However, the guidance of mum Jax, who has a communications background, helped boost his career into a $15,000 p/a brand – not lousy spending money for a now 13-year-old.
Since 2018, GGWP has provided free resources and online videos for creators teaching them how they can build a monetised career as a streamer, a recorded content creator or an esports athlete. Their next step is to hone in on intermediate and advanced content creators by delivering more in-depth educational content and increasingly larger brand opportunities in more locations.
“In short, we aim to help content creators to emulate the success of streaming greats like Ninja and Shroud. Smaller creators hardly have any visibility online, so we’ve created an education pathway to help them gain sponsorship and opportunities that will lead to a full-time career.” – Cassie Puah – GGWP’s Chief Marketing Officer
Content creators who enter the GGWP Academy at the beginner level will still be able to access videos on topics including Branding, Goal Setting, Collaborations and Sponsorship for free. Meanwhile, intermediate to advanced users will pay a premium fee for access to more in-depth videos and resources to take them to an elite content creation level. This educational library of videos is ever-expanding and will continue to grow in size and depth of knowledge.
