Chronicles of Crime – The Millennium Series coming to Kickstarter in March

Chronicles of Crime - The Millennium Series

Media Release

Critically acclaimed board game Chronicles of Crime gets three new follow-up titles with standalone games set in years 1400, 1900 and 2400

Chronicles of Crime is coming back with a new range of games called “The Millennium Series”. The three brand new standalone Chronicles of Crime games will utilize the same great system, but provide interesting gameplay twists and refreshing settings, that span an entire millennium from 1400 to 1900 and finally 2400.

All three games are ready-to-play out-of-the-box experiences with no need for a base game or expansions. If you play more than one of The Millennium Series games, you will uncover connecting narrative threads and Easter eggs, as you follow the Lavel family throughout their unique history.

Players are invited to solve the crimes of 1400 Paris in the first game, with only their faithful canine companion and family members as support. Thankfully prophetic visions of the past and near-future will give players leads, but it will be down to their deduction skills to turn these glimpses into hard facts and hold the culprits accountable.

In 1900, players take on the role of a young ambitious journalist, more interested in crimes than the Belle Époque or the Summer Olympics. New mechanics in the form of escape room like puzzles and challenges laid out on the table will test even the most decisive player.

In the third game, 2400, players will encounter futuristic technology including cybernetic implants, androids, and artificial intelligence. Players will also need to decide when to augment their own bodies to stay one step ahead of criminals in both the real world and Cyberspace!

All three games will be available as part of their upcoming Kickstarter launching on March 3rd, 2020 and will release in retail in the future.
