On the 24th of February, GGWP Academy will launch the world’s first e-learning platform for gamers who want to build a career in content creation and esports. The app will be available on Apple/ IOS mobile and will be distributed to an extended audience of over 6M gamers thanks to their global partnerships with online tournament platforms; Mogul.gg (Australia) and Nice Cactus (France) and Logitech who will be the exclusive “Educational Partner” of the platform.
GGWP Academy will launch with beginner education for 3 pathways – Streamer / Esports Athlete / Recorded Content Creator. In future, this will be expanded to include Shoutcasting / Podcasting / Esports & Gaming Writing.
The streaming specific training courses will teach players how to; Build a personal brand, create a positive online presence, Healthy gaming, Networking, Accounting foundations, How to represent brands and much more. It basically prepares aspiring streamers for life as a full time content creator. It’s also a place where users can set and track their goals for success. All training will be available in Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced.
Fresh from the leAD Sports Accelerator in Berlin, Australian startup GGWP Academy is a world AND market first in providing gamers education and opportunity. Having already raised a pre-seed round, GGWP Academy is now getting ready to close their seed round investment.
In late 2020, V2 of the platform will include an Influencer Marketplace that will provide users with a worldwide ranking and a pathway of opportunity to be engaged by brands for influencer campaigns.
