Media Release:
New Colour Scheme Gives Artists More Options for Matching Devices to Their Personal Style and Workplace Aesthetic
Xencelabs is releasing a Special Edition bundled version of its widely used Pen Tablet Medium and Quick Keys, with both devices and pen accessories available in a Nebula White finish. The new colourway distinguishes the line as their first products available in a white finish.
Now, artists and designers have another colour option for their workspace to fit their personal style and aesthetic, while still enjoying the same high level of performance and ergonomics the Xencelabs products have delivered since they first launched.
“With this new special edition,” said Shannon Woolley at Xencelabs, “we’re giving artists who may have a ‘lighter aesthetic’ a choice of what colour graphics tablet they integrate into their personal workflow to match their individuality, workspace, home decor, or any environment or remote work location.”
All accessories including the Quick Keys feature matching colours.
Xencelabs launched in early 2021 to deliver a digital tablet alternative customised to the professional requirements of artists and designers working in a range of creative applications. The company has since unveiled new tablet sizes, easily downloadable software drivers and accessories, all designed to make users’ jobs easier and achieve the optimal mix of comfort, customization, ergonomics, intuitive use and compatibility with different devices and operating systems.
Minimalist design with a thin and thoughtful profile
The Xencelabs Pen Tablet Medium’s active area has an ultra-fine matte-texture surface which is wear-resistant and non-slip. This texture gives the included pens a surface that recreates the feel of pen on paper.
The tablet’s front edge is narrowed to only 5 mm thin and features a 6.5-degree curved slope to form a seamless palm rest and create a comfortable, natural drawing experience. The Xencelabs Pen Tablets have natural grooves on both sides of their aluminum alloy back to increase portability and hand-held comfort.
Quick Keys
The Quick Keys accessory is a programmable shortcut remote featuring an OLED display that’s designed to increase user productivity – whether it’s used with a Xencelabs tablet or another device or software program as a macropad.
This device marks the industry’s first application of an OLED display on a shortcut key remote. With the OLED display, functions are clearly visible at a glance and a downloadable driver allows users to customise 40 shortcut keys per application.
Additional Quick Keys features include:
- Physical dial with colour LED ring
- Wireless mode
- Up to 50 hours of continuous use when fully charged
- Use as a standalone keypad
Two Pens for More Choice
To provide alternatives for artists, Xencelabs offers two different pen options. Their 3-Button pen has an improved button layout that helps artists easily identify which button will be activated. All the buttons, including the eraser, are programmable.
The company’s Thin Pen was developed specially for creatives who prefer the natural feel of traditional drawing tools. This pen has a smaller profile barrel than the 3-Button Pen and features two well-positioned buttons and eraser that are programmable, with soft-touch rubber providing a more comfortable drawing experience.
