It’s a bird… It’s a plane… it’s, okay, yeah, it is a plane. Not Superman. Just a regular plane. But also not regular at all? A PlayStation plane.
So here’s the thing. Out of nowhere, people, mostly Dez, let’s be honest, start nudging me, saying, “You have to go see the PlayStation thing in Brisbane.” And I’m like, Brisbane? Really? Nah. We never get this stuff. Sydney hogs it all. Melbourne gets the leftovers. Brisbane? Usually just gets humidity.
But then I saw it. And yeah, it’s real. It’s loud. It’s absurd. It’s detailed in ways that make you squint and go “wait, did they need to go that hard?” And it’s awesome. Like, actually awesome. Not the overused kind of awesome. The kind that makes you stop mid-scroll and go “…huh.”

Sony, you mad geniuses. Thank you. And yes, it’s all PS5. No PS4 crumbs here. If you’re in Brisbane, it’s tucked near the Valley train station, somewhere between The Brightside and Holy Moly. You’ll know when you’re close. It kind of radiates hype. Also, the bus there cost me 50 cents. I don’t know why. I didn’t question it. Felt like a win.

What’s it for? Honestly, no clue. Promo? Art? Vibes? All of the above? None? Maybe it’s just Sony flexing. Maybe it’s a fever dream. I didn’t ask. I just stared.
Anyway, I took a few pics. Shot a little video (Click it, it’s funny as). Nothing fancy, just enough to prove it exists. You should check it out. Or don’t. But you’ll probably regret not seeing it if you’re even remotely into games or weirdly cool marketing stunts.

Also, just a quick side note, I touched one of the PlayStation plane panels. It was warm. Not hot, not cold. Just… warm. Is that normal? I mean, probably not. But it didn’t feel wrong either. Kind of comforting, in a weird way. Am I still me? Hard to say. Let’s give it a few days.
